Ten days ago I've started a Firefox Folding@Home Team. In these ten days, we rose to number 1610 (out of 33601) and are still going up.
However, all help is welcome! So, if you aren't in some other team or want to change teams, get the Folding@Home Client and join Team Firefox (number 39299). The official annoucement is on http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=node/view/2183. Excellent idea! I have just joined with two computers, more to come.
Maybe we can make this sticky here at least for some time? “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.”
Cool idea!
BTW there's also a gmail invite giveaway for people that join the team; see my spreadfirefox.com blog post about it. hey man
![]() I have joined this after seeing it on spread firefox. Everyone should be doing this! I would gladly fold for this team... except that I've been folding for Rage3D for a couple years...

It sounds as the most obvious and natural choice for all to unite forces and by getting up high in the rank, maybe increase the visibility of all Mozilla projects, including TB, the suite, camino and others. I would have loved to see a big team there - not that we can ever get close to google team of course

I voted in the other thread to merge the teams!
Team Firefox (39299) has the most members. We are currently in the top 150 and rising. At our current rate it won't be too much longer until we crack the top 100, so join up!
http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... hp?t=39299 http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main ... mnum=39299 Since I switched to Linux, I haven't received credits for my workunits. I have run /opt/foldingathome/initconfig and made sure the user name and team number are correct. I've tried both versions of Folding@Home on Linux, 5.02 and 4.0, i.e.:
emerge foldingathome and ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge foldingathome I'm giving this one last chance then I'm out of here. ![]()
