xpcom.dll was not found

Whenever I start up Mozilla Firebird it says that it failed to start becuase xpcom.dll was not found. Is there any way to correct this?

Uninstalling and reinstalling Firebird sould do the trick. The file XPCOM.dll should be in Firebird's Program directory. As an alternative, download the zip build and just copy the file.

BTW: Try the Firebird General forum the next time. This is the Mozilla (Browser Suite) forum.

How do you uninstall and reinstall?

To uninstall Mozilla Firebird, simply delete the Mozilla Firebird directory. This will leave your profile in place for use by future Mozilla Firebird installs. If you wish to remove your Mozilla Firebird profile you can delete the Phoenix folder from your Windows Application Data directory or remove the .phoenix dir from your linux home directory.
