The Official 2004-10-19 [Br/Tr] builds are out

Starting with today's 10/18 builds, you can now help test one of our new 0.9 features, saved search folders (aka virtual folders). A saved search folder looks like a regular mail folder but when you click on it, it runs a pre-determined search on arbitrary search criteria and arbitrary mail folders and shows you the results, creating the effect of a 'virtua' folder.

6. Did you completely erase the Thunderbird directory first?
7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)

I believe fixes are permanent repairs and patches are a workaround repair until a fix is made.
Kind of like MS Windows patches and service packs.

I think where it says "patch" it means a fix has been made, but not yet reviewed or applied to the code. And fixes have been applied.

I think the question is if you download a nightly, are you testing code with patches in or not? If not, are there any nightlies built against the patches?

The pach list are containing patches who are checked in in the branch/trunk/both but they are not marked as fixed. So they are in the build but it is not sure if it works.

What des the number between parens mean?

It's the number from the last update (usually the day before).
