The Official 2004-11-01 Branch builds
Win setup, Win Zip, Linux and Mac.

The Official 2004-11-01 Trunk builds
Win Setup, Win Zip, Linux and Mac.

Red is not yet out at the editing time of this thread.
Green is out at the editing time of this thread.

The previous official build thread was ->2004-10-28.

These are changes between 2004-09-28 and now
Both fixes for MailNews and Thunderbird are included

If you find problems/bugs:
  1. Post them in this thread
  2. Properly describe the problem
  3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
  4. Include the "about mozilla thunderbird" information (under the help button)
  5. Installer build or .zip version?
  6. Did you completely erase the Thunderbird directory first?
  7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
  8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

I am reading the dev comments for bug 244522 (LDAP) and they seem to believe that the issue has been fixed. It is not clear if the fix has made it into Aviary builds, however. i am using version 0.8+ (20041030) and still exhibit the following LDAP related problem.
When quering the LDAP server it allows me to enter a few characters before looking up the server.
Then after it time outs there is nothing returning back from my request, even though the input is deliberately true
While the search is being contacted TB is frozen.
Even in the case where the name being looked up is stored in the local address book, since TB still has to go through an LDAP search, I exhibit the same behaviour as above. Also, in that case, if I get more than one hits, I'm not allowed to scroll down and pick the desired name.
In the past I have tried to create new profiles, but without success.
If the patch has been recently implemented and the recommendation is to create a new profile, I will do it - Only pls let me know if it makes sense.

Thanks!

Milen

I think your threat worked: version 0.8+ (20041101), Windows installer version, downloaded less than an hour after your message was posted....

Wild guess, but maybe 2 of those 5 bugs got fixed/resolved in the time since this thread was created.

Shouldn't those links be made green now that they are available?

Anyone else have problems with the number of new messages not showing up? Can't seem to find a bug on this in bugzilla.
