Special bug # 253831 to report popups that aren't blocked by Firefox popup blocker

The Official Win32 ..... builds are out , RSS feed (new, opens html page with RSS button)
IRC channel #Firefox
IRC channel #Spreadfirefox

The Official Win32 2004-11-03 [Aviary Branch] is out.
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2004-11-03-08-trunk/The Official Win32 2004-11-03 [Trunk] is not yet out.*STUCK*

The previous Official Win32 build was 2004-11-02 BRANCH || 2004-11-01 TRUNK
The latest nightly general directories: Official Branch ||Localized Branch || Official Trunk || Unofficial Branch/Trunk

If you find problems/bugs:
  1. Post them in this thread
  2. Properly describe the problem
  3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
  4. Include the "about mozilla firefox" information (under the help button)
  5. Installer build or .zip version?
  6. Did you completely erase the Firefox directory first?
  7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
  8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with, especially not TBE)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

From tinderbox for trunk:
Tree is closed until cvs-miror is updating again.
If you're not using Firefox, you're not surfing the web, you're suffering it.

NOt a big deal anyway since the trunk is scheduled to be frozen for 1.8a5 in a few hours anyway, isn't it?

Here is another unconfirmed bug. 253399 (QFA)Talkback error: Can't initialize.

It's marked as a Linux bug But I'm seeing this error on Windows also. It looks like it might be an installer bug.

If I chose to install the QFA when it's defaulted not to be installed sometimes the installer hangs at the end claiming it can't find the QFA. When it does install w/o hanging then i see the error in the console when starting Firefox. If I don't try to install the QFA when it's defaulted not to install I don't see the error. Haven't messed around with it enough to say that this is reproduceable though.

Need to run Firefox with the console to see the error on Windows. firefox -console

Interesting though, how much of the installer code would be shared between Firefox + Seamonkey + trunk + branch + Linux + Windows.

Anyone bored? :-)

Is there a bug for this?

I tested the first one and it didn't crash on me but it did lock it up rather completely.
