Perhaps just my imagination, but this build feels faster, in the rendering of pages.

Green #3 and #7 from yesterday's topic are about rendering performance. Coincidence? Maybe not!

Yeah, it looks like from the past few months, layout and rendering overhead has gone down.. bz, roc, dbaron, tn and others have been rewriting a lot of code.. Not to mention, Network Performance bug got fixed a few days ago.. Edit: that should be tab prioritization network performance.

I noticed it too on 3.6, having a shared profile. It maximized the window, then closed the window, I had to maximize it again.. then I couldn't put it in minimize mode, so I opened Minefield, I got a 27x100 size window, which I had to resize by hand. I chose not to save and quit and it was fine for both builds after that.

In my case, it could not "verify" the integrity of the partial update. It hung/wouldn't finish downloading the full update at 10.4 MB. I proceeded to pause it and download the .exe package and off I went.

I just noticed a rendering glitch with today's build on this webpage before I logged in. The google free internet explorer 8 ad was down inside the forum list, rendered on top of littlemutt's post..

Do you have HTML5 enabled ? I was seeing that a week or more ago, and after turning if 'off' again, I've not seen it happen since.

yes, I downloaded and installed the whole thing in the end. Ray, for the greasemonkey bug, just change 160 to 180 in line 15 (or so) of components/greasemonkey.js: - Code: Select all
var jsVersion = 160;

I don't think that'll work, the new max is 185, so it'll still trump your setting of 180. If you search for the other occurrence of maxJSVersion in Components.utils.evalInSandBox just replace it with "1.8". On a separate note, does anyone find it odd that selecting 'view image info' doesn't force the media list to show the selected item? Edit: and it doesn't even have focus, so hitting up/down doesn't behave as you'd expect.
