I don't plan on doing any merging until after the holidays. Feel free to be grouchy but we're taking a break until New Year's!

The Official Thunderbird ... builds are out" - RSS feed

IRC channel: #Thunderbird

These are changes between 2004-12-15 and now
Both fixes for MailNews and Thunderbird are included

If you find problems/bugs:
  1. Post them in this thread
  2. Properly describe the problem
  3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
  4. Include the "about mozilla thunderbird" information (under the help button)
  5. Installer build or .zip version?
  6. Did you completely erase the Thunderbird directory first?
  7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
  8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

So I can use trunk build finally from now on? Can't wait to see if gtk2 file chooser has been checked in.
Thanks.

ganlu, in short, no, you probably shouldn't. You're better off right now with 1.0 or one of the later branch nightlies for day to day mailing. If you use the trunk, you will have problems. But hey, maybe you're looking for a little development excitement!

hariskar - did you move to the trunk nightlies? If so, that's probably your problem. You are very courageous! :)

Unghost, perhaps you could quote mscott's message about the branch landing in your post - hopefully dispel the tide of 'can I use the trunk, now?' posts...

I saw this one, but I'm sure I saw another elsewhere - maybe you can find it.
No merging until after the holidays
