As there have been no checkins since 4th Sep, surely these last few builds should be 100% identical? Is there really any point in downloading these new builds until something changes?

That query only returns checkins to the Firebird front-end, it does not return those to the rendering engine, network code, etc, etc.

Not quite, most changes that go into Mozilla also affect Firebird. So, although there are no Firebird specific checkins, there may be some slight changes due to Mozilla checkins. Having said this, these are usually very minor. For all real purposes, todays build and yesterday's build are almost 100% identical, and you won't notice any difference between the two, unless you happen to have been affected by the fairly obscure bug 211092.

so thats why u didnt make any builds for a few days aebrahim? cos nobody really needs em anyway if they are pretty much identical.
we can only hope they are working on some big checkins/changes and thats why nothing has been done for several days.

Ah I'd forgotten about backend changes - thanks for clearning that up.
