When it's done (mid may is my guess)

1.0.3 created some serious problems with certian extensions. Most of those have been resolved now and I suspect that we will see 1.0.3 shortly. Latest notes: http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/archives/007937.html

Mid-may? I can't see being out later than this week, especially since the latest build isn't causing any problems with extensions.

I'm using the nightly version of 1.0.3 released on 6th April and it works as well as 1.0.2 did for me. It crashed once when I forgot I'd turned Pop-up Blocker off and it didn't like it. I have about 20 extensions installed and no themes, it runs well.

1.0.3

Post by virtualcertainty »

After about 20 minutes of surfing with 1.0.3 I noticed that Firefox has consumed 170 mb of my ram.... I'm sure this wasnt happening before. Is it just me?

It probably was. A lot of people notice these things after upgrades, but I never really understand why, since no changes were made (AFAIK) that would change memory consumption.
