I've got 18 previously installed extensions. After testing each one, they all work perfectly.

Ditto here, no problems installing this newest update, updating from 1.02. Followed the three steps for updating with an earlier version installed- http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=251238. Left the older installed 1.02 version alone, backed up my Profiles folder as recommended, downloaded and installed version 1.03. Everything works as before- and unlike previous FF updates only one entry in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Pretty simple. My only quibble is I never got an Update icon on my taskbar- I just happened to check out the FF site and saw that there was a new update available.

Yea, but on the other hand, look around the Forum topics about 12 hours after 1.0.3 was released....
Topics and quotes from around the Forum:
"Tools in 1.0.3 not working."
"Cannot install 1.0.3."
"Update 1.0.3 disabled extensions, can't reinstall them."
"I just downloaded 1.0.3 and now i cant access any web pages."
"I've only had 1.0.3 for 4 hours now and had nothing but problems with it"
"Fox 1.0.3 won't check for plugins.."
"So I download the update, install it on my PC, and when I try to execute Firefox I get the standard firefox.exe has encountered an error."
"Problem encountered in version upgrade from 1.02 to 1.03"
"firefox 1.0.3 rendering page badly than 1.0.2"
As is usually the case following any Firefox upgrade or in this case, patch, there is a myriad of these types of posts in the aftermath.
I may have a smooth transition to 1.0.3 or I may not but,
I'm going to wait a little longer before taking the step to install
1.0.3. while I read the posts and suggested solutions to the
various problems encountered.

Yes but if you notice they are they same problems that have been showing up, at least since 1.0>1.0.1>1.0.2 upgrades.
Most of them firewall issues or other security software . And some extensions may not work. The upgrade notes mentioned that.

I'm one of those people that have had a bad experience with 1.0.3 -- after upgrading, Firefox won't access any web pages at all. I've tried uninstalling, doing a completely clean re-install, and rebooting several times, all to no avail. I checked my Norton firewall and it isn't posing a problem either, so now I'm stumped. I'm going to try to uninstall again and then re-install 1.0.2 -- hopefully that will work.
It's sad that I have to use IE to access the Firefox support forum.

Update worked just fine for me. No problems at all.
