Hi
I am in the midst of assistance-exchange at SeaMonkey Support and suddenly am unable to log in.
The system rejects my user-name, my password and email addresses.
How can I get back in and continue my thread?
Many thanks
Abe
P.S. The person helping me is asking for a screen dump. Does the system allow for an attachment?

What user name & email addy are you using, coz your abe-ariel results as not known?
Post your email addy but don't use the "full real" one. (Coz of bots.)
eg; xxxxxxxx at xxxxxxxxx.com

Can you remember when you joined/registered?

To attach a piccie, use Photobucket & keep them to around 600 x 500 or so. ;)

Tks for your quick reply.

My username is "abe-ariel" and addy "ariship@xxxxxx.com.au"

I may have registered in late June 2011. I read in my personal diary on 29 June, 2011:
"MOZILLA USER NAME: abe-ariel"
There's no entry for password.

If you go to:
viewforum.php?f=40
and look for ARIEL, you'll find my current thread and see that for the past few days I was accepted in several times without a hitch.

Tks for info on piccie. Will look at that issue as soon as I'll be able to log in again.

Tks, Mate

Abe

"ariship@xxxxxx.com.au" is no good.
I need the "provider". optusnet/iinet/bigpond etc.
eg; ariship at whatever.com.au.

Is it ariship or airship?

I found > wai_huynh at optusnet.com.au
using ARIEL, but that account hasn't been used since 2003.

From Ariel

Yes, it is ARISHIP
provider : Yahoo
Nothing to do with wai_huynh at optusnet.com.au

Yes, on each times was asked to enter the CAPTCHA. As I approched the forum only once before (June 2011) I thought this the normal procedure.
I shall register again if necessary, but I do not wish to lose my thread and contact with the person who is already trying to help me.

Tks
Abe

You won't lose contact with your thread.
It's here > viewtopic.php?f=40&t=2609573

I get no results for either abe-ariel or ariship associated with yahoo.com.

You are not actually registered.

You can either try posting in the thread or register using the button at the top of the Index page. (I think that's where it is.....It's been a while.) ;)
Then log in & continue to your thread.
You can either use the "Subscribe" link to the thread or when you log in, use the "View your posts" link at the top RHS or simply bookmark it.
