I noticed the file before you announced it and it is working great for me, but I did notice one thing. When I installed flash and then it restarted mozilla, it went to macromedia's homepage and my CPU usage went up very high. I changed sites and closed that tab but it still stayed around 50% (on a 2.4 gHZ CPU). I then closed Mozilla and the CPU usage stayed high and MozillaFirebird was still a process running. I ended this process and then started Firebird again and haven't had the problem since (when I close mozilla it's process ends too and no high CPU usage). It seems like it has something to do with installing flash (btw I am using flash click to view and I had installed that before flash and had restarted the browser for flash click to view, so maybe that is involved but I don't dunno).

Windows XP in case it helps.

seems very speedy to me. Solid work! Now to wait for aebrahim's optimized build...

Only one complaint, it doesn't mow the lawn. I can't believe no one's filed that bug yet.

Looks good so far.

Where are the release notes? I hadn't noticed any packaged with the build.

I'm happy with 0.7rc3 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Firebird/0.7). Works smoothly, and the regression that involved choice of extension installation directory has been fixed. Nice.

Isn't this the first release candidate? And, is it the same build as the nightly I installed earlier today?

This is the first official release candidate. The other "release candidates" are unofficial builds made using the 1.5 (fb 0.7) branch, which is the same branch the actual release candidates are made from. The regular nightlies are made from the trunk, which will be used in 1.6 (fb 0.8 ) Hope this clears things up.

A: None. They just make darkness a standard!

I've been using nightlies for a while so I've always seen Fonts/Colors in Options->General. In the 0.7 RC, this is in Options->Web Features

Ooo, I like the release candidate build off the branch and not the trunk. There are a few bugs on the trunk right now that are pissing me off, so this is a great change from my 2003-09-11 build.

I think the themes are back to the old types. If so, GANT won't work since lynchknot didn't make any for pre-theme change builds.

There aren't any for RCs.

Yeah, the switch took place between the branch cutoff and the recent nightlies.
