The latest Stable release is Thunderbird 1.0.6 (Do not use Thunderbird 1.0.6 with a 1.0+ profile !!)

Both fixes for Core (Mailnews), Toolkit and Thunderbird are included

If you find problems/bugs:

1. Post them in this thread
2. Properly describe the problem
3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
4. copy your useragent+buildtime to clipboard, use the extension Build ID Copier
5. Installer build or .zip version?
6. Does a new profile fix the problem?
7. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)

This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

Not sure why there is no posts here but there are in the previous build.

At any rate, usually i have no problems when i download the latest but today was an exception.

Couple of problems:

1. The status bar is about a 1" high, with a big error talking about <menu
2. My Spam folder has the emails now as attachments, but i can't open the .eml files

My guess would be that it was for a particular file type only,although I didn't notice it working.
From my understanding of the problem, it is going to take the cooperation of many module "owners" to get this working again.
Do you know that drag & drop out of the windows explorer window does work for all file types. And copy/paste within the compose window works if you know how to correct the escaped image link. To work around the escaped image source link, after you see the broken link icon, double click on the broken link (placeholder) then edit the source as follows:
Mailbox:///c%7c/blah blah
should be Mailbox:///c|/blah blah
The pasted image will then appear.
This is with html compose of course.
