I assume no one knows if the image problem in the previous thread was a dupe or not.
I filed #302858[Firefox]-Memory leak with loaded image [Win]

I bet that the new "image thumnails in tabs" feature isn't helping.

I get general slowness when I open lots of tabs of large images.

From last thread:

When I place a folder on the bottom of the bookmarks sidebar and click on the +, it just opens. :?

Maybe another testcase:

1. Create a new profile.
2. Open the bookmarks sidebar.
3. Click on the "+" signal beside the third folder on it ("Firefox and Mozilla Links").

Notice that the first folder ("Bookmarks Toolbar Folder") get focus.

Normally it isn't so bad, but if you have a large list from bookmarks with several folders (like me) and use your mouse scrollrad to point to a folder on the bottom of the list the list will "jump" to the very first folder on sidebar, very annoying!!!

It's not the first folder, it's the bookmark that has the focus. The problem i think is that clicking the '+' doesn't give focus to the folder being expanded, and centers the viewport on the focused element, wich is not the expanded one, as the action didn't give it focus... don't know if i make sense, but just try selecting a bookmark on the sidebar and then expanding another folder.

When I open the bookmarks sidebar nothing has focus. When I click on the "+" the first folder will become focused...

In the bookmarks manager, I've been seeing the current state as shown below:

Image

( Apologies for the rather large pic. )

There's an ugly dashed yellow border around the highlighted bookmark. It only appears when the bookmark manager has focus. I also noticed that there the bookmark icon is cut off (in the default theme) presumably because of the yellow border.

Its been around for a few nightly builds. I wonder if anyone has seen this as well...

This is not only limited to the bookmarks manager. Browser history is also affected - in fact, its the place where you can see the icon cut-off clearly.

Can anyone reproduce this on other platforms ?
bug 302880: crash when select menu has focus, and trying to go back one page.

Happens to me with the 20050731 - OS X build. Previous builds work fine on my side.
