Just when you thought I'd forgotten to put out a weekly build . This is our first build based on the current Mozilla trunk in well over a month since we've been focused on the 0.3 branch.
Since we have not had a good look at a trunk build of thunderbird in so long, it would be great to get a lot of eyes looking at this to spot for any regressions on the trunk that crept in while we were working on 0.3.

New Features
----------------
Gosh so much has gone on in the trunk since we last had a trunk based build, I don't know where to begin!
1) This build contains a first cut at allowing a user to paste a screen shot (or any image on the clipboard) into a mail compose window. This is windows only. Would be great if folks could test this out. I have a feeling there will be problems at certain resolutions / color depths that don't match my machine. To test: Ctrl-Printscreen to get a screen shot on your clipboard. Then paste it into a compose window and send it to your best friend telling them "Hey thunderbird pastes screen shots now". Or copy an image out of paint or another image viewer onto your clipboard and then into thunderbird. We currently convert the windows bitmap into a JPG file (temp dir\ "mozilla-screenshot.jpg") and insert the image file into the compose window. When closing the app, we delete the temporary file.
2) POP messages with: Click here to download rest of message' now works.
3) Auto Proxy urls now work
4) vCard support is now available
5) David Bienvenu has fixed several imap connectivity bugs.
6) The panes in the address book window now have context menus.
Known Issues
----------------
1) There were several problems with copying clipboard images in the windows build. In particular, we crashed if you tried to paste a 256 color gif or some oddly sized JPEGs. The windows build has been replaced with a new version (same location) which addresses these issues.

It's there for me.
You probably did not wait long enough for the bits to get pushed.

Strange. Copy link location, and paste it into my Download Menager(DAP) results "file not found" error. But when i clicked link DAP showed me download window, and detected 7.34MB file...
1) Paste a screen shot in compose window ain't work for me
2) How about Bug #220846? Its still present in Thunderbird, even in this build

It does not work for me. I got a snapshot of the screen (verified it by opening an MS Photo Editor new document & pasting it there), but when I try to paste it into my compose window, the "Paste" selection is grayed out. I then tried copying it directly from the photo editor. Same problem. I then selected & copied some text. No problems here. It looks like this is a problem only for pics.

In fact, which I check
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... d/nightly/
the latest entry I find is 2003-09-01 There is no entry for 2003-10-24-trunk

Hmmm. I'm wondering if this is a problem with the "Paste" functionality...
Occasionally I'm having problems pasting into the compose window. I make the problem "go away" by minimizing & restoring the window. I tried this again today (while testing the "paste a picture" feature), but it didn't do the trick...

Pasting an image into the compose window works fine here. For those who are having problems, make sure you have "Compose messages in HTML format" checked in Tools -> Account Settings -> [Server Name] -> Composition & Addressing
(Nitpick: In the left-hand prefs panel that section is called "Composition & Addressing", while at the right-hand top it's called "Addressing & Composition".)

Yes! That did the trick for the "pasting problem".
Ok. Now I've got my compose window WITH the image, and hit the send button (sending it to myself). Both the email that I get and the copy in my Sent folder have no image (sorry, being difficult today).
