Yes, got 325K update for firefox, but the auto-restart didn't work for me on XP Home.. The browser closed but I received a "firefox.exe has encountered a problem..." message and had to manually restart.

Working fine over here with the latest Linux branch.

And for the update part, I didn't got any error on Linux build, so it can be OS specific.

I'm on windows xp and I didn't get any error message. Nice to see this finally working (for me)...now if only they changed the branding on Deer Park

The updater wanted to download the whole 5.9 MB.
Was using the ID:2005090422 build.

What I experienced that FF first downloaded some 300K or so, and then after a restart told me that the patch could not be applied, and therefore had to download the entire package again. Nice!

Small patch worked here:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050905 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005090506

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... ozilla1.8/

That has the partial .mar file in it used to update.

The small .mar is most likely ONLY downloaded if you update from daily to the next daily

Peter: i was about to ask just that...

That was my theory as well. If you try to auto-update from an "hourly" then it will need the big update.

Small updates probably only work from official daily... makes sense.

Nightly Tester Tools still provides me with an option to Launch Talkback, but then I get an error message (Could not find talkback. Perhaps it is not installed.) This is after grabbing an hourly and choosing Custom install, all 3 boxes checked. Is this as it should be?
