Just to let you know that the software update system worked flawlessly. You rock, Scott.

The automatic check for updating extensions went into an endless loop when I first started Tb after the update. After I finally hit "cancel" everything seems fine, and a manual check for updates proceeded normally.

Forgot to mention, my extension compatibility check also went well. A couple were disabled, but it was smooth and fast.

Autosaving (to a Draf folder on an IMAP server) blocks input for couple of seconds. All characters typed during that time are lost. But maybe that's a RFE and not a bug.

A regression, which apparently also existed in v.0.8: if you try to choose a different "Local directory" for Local Folders (in Account Settings), the new location you choose doesn't stick. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308311

the Auto Update from the German Beta2 doesnt do anything at all. it just says "Mit Updateserver verbinden" ("Connecting to Update Server") and thats it. nothing is being downloaded

I found from 1.06 to 1.5b1, 1.5b2, 1.5rc1, every time I upgrade Thunderbird, my setting for View => Headers will change from Normal to All.

Windows, IMAP.

Hi,
it sound like new mail notification is not working under Fedora Core 4 and KDE. Simply, it appears no notification upon new mail reception. The new mail sound is working fine as usual, though. I also tried to apply the steps suggested for FC3 and Gnome on the release notes.

Regards
Alberto
