AmboyGuy,

Thanks for the Logitech BIOS link info...Interesting that (thus far) it is affecting the G5 Laser wired mouse, and might also affect the G6/7 Laser wireless mouse...

So my wireless V-500 optical mouse was not afffected (for now-lol)
Typically, I make it good habit to check at least once-a-week to see if all my various apps are all up-to-date.

And with the best feature, updates, not working. Should be an impressive launch.
Most will probably be unaware of it, being defaulted to the release channel, but it's surely been a pain for nightly users.

AmboyGuy: The update problems are server side only. I am virtually certain that if a 1.5.0.1 or 1.5.1 is released, the update to it will work. The convenience of nightly users never will or should be a priority- the goal is a good product for end users, and I think 1.5 meets that goal very well.

IMO, this is a time for celebration.

Does anyone else have issues when visiting the proof of concept site for the new IE vulnerability? Go to the article at security.ithub site and click the link for the proof of concept. The Windows XP link on that page freezes my browser and causes 100% CPU usage. The only way I can stop it is closing Firefox. On IE it opens up calc.exe because of the vulnerability, but it shouldn't cause problems with Firefox as far as I know.

Can anyone confirm it's a possible bug?
