Philip
You've been doing some great work on porting extensions to seamonkey - much appreciated!!
If you get chance could you look at downloadstatusbar? They did have a mozilla version years ago but have only developed for firefox recently. I had a look at the source but I'm afraid its beyond my expertise.
Many thanks

Actually I did have a look some time back, but at that time it was beyond my expertise too. Perhaps now that I've more experience getting Firefox extensions to work in Seamonkey, I'll have another look. I have to admit however that so far I've been picking off the low hanging fruit.

xSidebar 0.0.20060427 for Seamonkey
xSidebar is an extension that brings the look and feel of Firefox style sidebars to Seamonkey.
Homepage: http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/
Install: xsidebar-0.0.20060427.xpi
What's New: - [fix] Extensions with autocomplete textboxes were not working because Firefox's autocomplete syntax and implementation are very different. xSidebar now implements the autocomplete binding from the Seamonkey trunk which supports the Firefox syntax. Extensions that use autocomplete textboxes like Scrapbook and Flickr Sidebar now won't error out and their search boxes now work although there is no autocomplete history available.
- The modified Scrapbook and Flickr Sidebar extensions have been updated to work with the latest xSidebar so you will also need to re-download and install these.
- The Page Info sidebar now has a tab-scroller widget as the right-most tabs are unreachable if the sidebar is too narrow.
