Well I’ve assembled some Sea Monkey wallpapers that I hope will be a start of something good for Sea Monkey and its fans. I’ve mentioned before that a lot of Firefox’s success is do to its logo recognition and the way that fans use and spread it, so I hope that these and Glanz’s wallpapers will get others to make more Sea Monkey artwork.
Since there are no clear Trademark laws yet displayed by the creator of the logo, I’ve included on each wallpaper that “The Sea Monkey logo is protected by Trademark laws.”
That should cover it for now. And I will remove any Sea Monkey materials from my site if the owner of the Sea Monkey logo disapproves of my use of them (I want to stick to the rules).
I’d recommend to anyone out there that wants to use Sea Monkey logos to just not mess with the logo itself. I learned through working with Firefox logos that they don’t mind you using them as long as they’re kept intact (plus other guidelines).
Anyway, I hope you enjoy. There’s 17 in all for now and you can view the others here:

Thanks to Glanz for taking the first steps by creating and submitting what is probably the first public Sea Monkey wallpapers. (His are really cool). <br>

I used to work in a small nightclub (The Beach Club) in St Mary’s Ga in the late 80's, ever hear of it?

I really appreciate the kind compliments. You know, I’ve made so many wallpapers that it’s hard to come up with new ideas sometimes. These types of wallpapers are hard because you have to keep the logo intact while trying to come up with new backgrounds.
Now that it’s started, others will get involved and make more and better because there are serious wallpaper artists out there. This is the way that we start to market Sea Monkey. People love free stuff, especially wallpapers. The biggest search referrals that I get to my site are for Firefox wallpapers. There’s a huge demand for them and there’s a growing demand for Sea Monkey artwork.
If anything, wallpapers also help to market because perhaps someone walks by and sees it, they may ask about Sea Monkey.
What’s funny is that I use Firefox exclusively and I’ve never tried Sea Monkey.
So why do I care about Sea monkey? Because it’s Mozilla based and I’m a huge fan.
Also while I’m yapping on:
Eyes-Only is going to convert the wallpapers from PNG to JPEGS for those who made need or want that format.
If you need a bigger or smaller one, just ask.

I just downloaded the zip of the wallpapers. Created a "SeaMonkey Wallpapers" folder. I'm using that folder as my screensaver slide show. I can see all of them in screensaver mode now. :D

That's a good idea. If these wallpapers where accepted ok, I had plans to make a Sea Monkey screensaver or two.

I'm going to give Sea Monkey a go today.
Nice rainy New England day to try new software (before the Super Bowl).

Screensavers should be burned into oblivion. They're useless.

I never could figure out why they were called screen"savers".... They do just the opposite.

The banana loves them too.
I think "awesome" is an exaggeration, but I appreciate the complement!
The ones I already did are posted here at our site and the ones I will do soon (this week) will be also. I'll do some PNGs too, maby some SVGs... some transparencies..., etc...
