I'm back now and will continue with next weeks builds (feb 26-4 of march). I don't have the time to back up and do all of last weeks and the end of the previous week, sorry.
Mscott: I changed the links to the latest-trunk, mozilla1.8 an mozilla1.8.0.
Someone asked why the feed wasn't being updated...It was not being updated because I was away for the week.

Thanks guys for the updates and the new links, I installed nightly branch 1.8 over the top of the release 1.5 and now get an error pane in the bottom window of "compose a new message" window. If I could figure out how to post the pic I woud but I can't see how. The error says in red writing
<menuitem id=folderPanelContext-new"
----^
Any ideas? thanks

Sounds like you have a hack in userchrome.css to remove some context entry.

Is there any bug # about the 1.8 branch using the Firefox download manager? It's somewhat broken at the moment, for example downloading a podcast attachment causes:
Error: Component returned failure code: 0x80570018 (NS_ERROR_XPC_BAD_IID) [nsIJSCID.getService]
Source file: chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/downloads.js

This was done in bug #239136
... but please file a new one for the podcast issue.

I wish they could get the incremental updates fixed. It's so much more convenient and efficient.

Thanks mate for your time, I just downloaded 1.8.0 and the problem is no longer there, weird as it was there for the last four installs of either branch, I'll stick with this one now for a while and report back if I have any issues.
Once again thanks for your patience and help

version 1.6a1 (20060226) has a problem with secure newsgroups.
Bug 328731 filed against 'core'
Bug marked as invalid. It seems devs are eliminating some lower level encryption bt default. to use the latest trunk for secnews.netscape.com I had to change the following pref pref("security.ssl3.rsa_rc4_40_md5", false); seamonkey has a UI for this but TB does not. Cofig editor must be used. For problems in other (not so secure) newsgroups, other prefs may appy. See bug number 236933 for further details if you need them.
