Deleting the "Local Folders" ?

Hello,

I would like to know if this is possible to delete (or eventually hide) the "Local Folders" in Thunderbird ? In the case I am not using it, I don't see the interest to keep it.

I imagine that I can delete it on the hard drive, in the account directory, but this may be dangerous, right?

Don't do that. Thunderbird will just recreate it's missing folders when you relaunch it.
