[MozJF] 23-dec trunk installer / 7zip

Post by MozJF »

Hello.

Another installer build from me

0.8 sources up to date at 10:00 am mozilla.org time.

For Pentium Pro/2/3/4, Celeron and AMD Athlon/Duron/AthlonXP CPUs

I decided to release both installer and a 7zip file, so you can test it without fear

* Installer : 6.1 Mb file

* 7Zip : 4.5 Mb file

Good download, and remember : if it breaks your computer, don't shoot me, I am only a contributor.

I tried it (MozillaFirebird trunk - 23-dec-2003.exe - 7zip) and the mouse wheel stopped scrolling. The All-in-one gestures extension (version 0.9.1) seemed to stop working also, at least as far as the scroll wheel navigation. I rolled back to your MozillaFirebird pre-0.8 - 23-dec-2003.exe. I use the above mentioned features alot and really can't live without them.

Trunk builds are supposed to be less stable than branch builds :)

So if you see strange bugs, don't be shocked :)

I'm using your trunk build after switching from aebrahim's 2003-12-18, and it's working fine for me. With my extensions. Good build!

Not shocked at all, just thought I'd tell ya the problems I ran into with that particular build. If we're not supposed to do this, please let me know and I'll just keep quiet. :)

Don't worry :)

I don't use any extensions, so I cannot see what problems they might face :)

MozJF, I'm using your 2003/12/23 trunk build. I think it's even more stable than the branch builds :D . This is the first build I use since aebrahim's 20031218 . Your 20031223 trunk build is really fast.
