I used to display my RSS feeds directly on my Website with xslt as shown in the sample code below, but with version 2.0 Beta 1, all that appears when viewing the feed is the default Firefox Reader page that says "Subscribe Now --- Change Reader...". I don't want that. Is there anything I can do on my side beside hoping for the devs to remove this thing when a stylesheet is used in a xml document?

Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="style.xsl"?>

<rss version="2.0">

It won't happen that devs will disable showing feed preview if a stylesheet is provided.
It's been "decided" that an rss tag means you're giving rss content. Mozilla styles feed content appropriately and in a standardized way.

You can force mozilla to render the document as xml (using your style) by ensuring that the rss tag does not appear within the first 512 bytes.
