I'm not sure if this should really belong here, but if someone could post the bug mentioned in this thread. I was able to reproduce.

It's fixed now in branch nightly builds, so it will be fixed in 2.0 final (already fixed in the alpha/beta)

jensemann,
That is something that typically occurs due to an extension that is not completely compatible. I would guess the extension has something to do with a spell checker. Try disabling extensions and restarting to see which one it is (disable one at a time).

Oh great, now I'm getting it, too! Disabling all extensions (Minimize to Tray and Nightly Tester) did nothing.

- Code: Select all
Error: undefined entity Source File: chrome://communicator/content/contentAreaContextOverlay.xul Line: 75, Column: 7 Source Code: <menuitem id="spell-no-suggestions"------^
After updating to Sept 26 branch 2.0 nightly I am seeing this in Safe Mode. So don't blame any extensions.

In "%Programdir%/chrome/en-US.jar/locale/en-US/communicator/contentAreaCommands.dtd"
add the lines:
- Code: Select all
<!ENTITY spellNoSuggestions.label "(No spelling suggestions)"> <!ENTITY spellAddToDictionary.label "Add to dictionary"> <!ENTITY spellAddToDictionary.accesskey "t"> <!ENTITY spellEnable.label "Spell check this field"> <!ENTITY spellEnable.accesskey "S"> <!ENTITY spellAddDictionaries.label "Add dictionary"> <!ENTITY spellAddDictionaries.accesskey "d"> <!ENTITY spellDictionaries.label "Languages"> <!ENTITY spellDictionaries.accesskey "l">
and the spell checker errors are gone.

Editing files in the build will break the incremental update to the next nightly, so that's an inconvenient option. I wish the Seamonkey devs would check the tree to not break other apps (like poor Camino, as it seems).
