To update to Fx 2.0 you will first need to update to Fx 1.5.0.8 which is also due for release very soon. Fx 1.5.0.8 will include a new version of the update manager to allow for major and minor updates. You will not be able to update from Fx 1.5.0.7 or earlier versions to Fx 2.0

There was talk about delaying the auto-update option from Fx 1.5.0.8 to Fx 2.0 possibly until the first stability/security release is made on the Fx 2.0 branch. I don't know what the final decision was on that.

Depending on the decision about auto-updating from Fx 1.5.0.8, the only way to get Fx 2.0 initially would be to download the full installer.

And chances are, if you're using RC3, you're already using FF2Final.

I don't think there will be an RC4 because nothing major is wrong with RC3.

Lots of folks have been sending me emails asking if the Tuesday release reported at various places is accurate. Yes. Unless something unexpected happens, we'll be shipping Firefox 2 on Tuesday.
