keyboard tab button not working in firefox

please, can anybody help me with this; my keyboard tab button is not working in firefox2, like it doesn't exist.. but it works normaly in other applications, so it's not problem in my keyboard..

please if someone can help me salve this out, I use keyboard a lot and firefox even more and without tab button is hard to live..

do you have the Paste and Go extension? i've seen this cause problems...try disabling it...if you don't have it, try starting in safe mode http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode and see what that does...

thx. for quick and helpful answer, that was a problem, and it happened yesterday I think when Paste & Go update was issued, there's bug..

Latest version is 0.6.2 and is working fine for me. No problems with the Tab button.

Not sure. Another possibility is that another extension you have may not being playing nicely with Paste and Go.

Edit- I see in the comments on the add-ons page that others were having problems with the Tab button but the author has no idea why and is asking for help with it.

have you tried the safe mode suggestion above, disabling extensions?

it works in safe mode, or with older release of extension I posted above.. not sure about conflicts with other extension cuz I don't see any other extensions having probs..

well, if you turn off all extensions/themes in safe mode and it works, then start FF normally and disable the extensions one-by-one (restarting after you disable each) until you find the culprit...

Some new problems can sometimes arise as extensions are updated. I still think that another extension you have is not playing well with Paste and Go.

Personally, I'd install the latest version of Paste and Go and then disable all my other extensions and then enable them one at a time to see what other extension is giving the trouble. Pain in the butt perhaps but if the problem is with another extension, I'm sure the author might be happy to know which one it is.

0.6.4. is still buggy. It tries to access the search box, which is not available in my layout. That causes a JavaScript error "pgPrefsObserver.pgSearchbar has no properties" in file pasteandgo2.js on line 454:

This disables not only TAB, but also every hotkey that uses a normal letter in it, like Ctrl+C. Not good....

Odd thing is, I don't have this problem with P&G.
