Hi EveryOne,

Any plan for a new lightning version, compatible with TB 2.0b2?

Just got an update of TB 2.02b, but unfortunately it's incompatible with Lightning calendar.

Thx.,

Vroom

Tests are running at the moment and if no errors show up Lightning 0.3 will be enabled for Thunderbird 2.0b2 soon.

Why has the latest lightning nightly xpi for mozilla 1.8 (including thunderbird) been switched back from 0.4a1 to 0.3b?

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... ndows-xpi/
contains the latest 0.4a1 nightly (~950kB)

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... ndows-xpi/
since yesterday, contains the 0.3b nightly (~750kB)

I cannot open my calenders used in 0.4a1 with the latest 0.3b build. Will there be any updates for the 0.4a1 branch?

Getting the next version tested and available on a short budget.

Here is the explanation: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=513308

We have done some testing to ensure that Lightning 0.3 still works OK on Thunderbird 2.0 b2. Everything seems to be all right. We are going to replace the download that is available from http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calenda ... nload.html with one that works on Thunderbird 2.0 beta 2.

However, if you need a fix prior to that update taking place, you can download the 0.3 version of Lightning from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla ... eases/0.3/ and that one will install on Thunderbird 2.0 beta 2.

Let us know if you see anything that is broken, or if you have further problems.

Thanks,
Clint
