Sometimes when I open FF I get a password popup box asking for "Oui?" at http://mozdev.eliptic.fr username and pwd. I dont know what Oui is or what is trying to connect to it. I assume an extension is doing it but I havent installed any new ones and this has just started happening in the last few days. Is there a way to figure out which extension is causing it other than disabling them one by one?

Someone else was having this problem earlier today, so it's not just you. The other person never asked back, but if you posted your list of extensions, I could cross-reference the two lists and find the common extension(s).

Update Notifier 0.1.5.2 is the only one I have that is on his list. Will try disabling it.

Disabled Update Notifier and have not had the popup again. It was intermittent so I cant be positive but that looks like the problem.

I think Update Notifier is being unfairly accused here. I've been using this extension for a very long time, including on FF2, without this issue occurring.
