Hmmm, I got a partial update today. I wonder if there is something got changed in your application directory for thunderbird that is causing us to fall back to a full? Did you modify any files like all-thunderbird.js on your own? that would do it.

The partials have been working fine for me, as well. (I manually check for updates.)

But today, after the partial was applied, I can no longer check for updates. "Check for updates..." is disabled in the Help menu, and the same is happening with the update options.

Windows XP SP2:

version 2 beta 2 (20070218)

(The same happens in safe mode.)

Update Options

Anyone else seeing this or know why this is occurring?

I hope this is not considered "spam", but I really need an answer from someone who knows..
bug#203927 - read from osx address book is marked as a possible blocker for TB2 (and I sure hope it does). But it seemes like the work on the bug has stopped.
There are many forum threads about this topic, last one here.

Any feedback on this would be much apreciated...

regards

Now who would do a dangerous thing like that...LOL
No, not lately, but I did recently setup a zip build of 1.5.0.10pre with a separate profile, and copied
profile data around. I'll watch it a little closer.

Hi, I am having problem reading or saving attachments with a # in their name. For example if you send yourself an email with the following attachment: a file name "a # b.txt" or "a # b.doc". The message is sent out correctly but when you receive the message you cannot open nor save the included attachment.

Is anybody else seeing that problem ?

I am using an MS Exchange server with IMAP connection with the latest-trunk of today build:
version 3 alpha 1 (20070219)

To confirm, is the new mail notification still not working in these builds? I am refering to the popup that is new with TB 2.0 that gives a preview of the sender/subject and not the mail icon. It disappeared for me many nightlies ago and I've yet to get it back. I heard some confirmation of this back then but haven't heard anyone mention it lately. I'm on Windows XP and am using the latest nightly.

My computer has died and I installed the latest Trunk build on another computer. I am using IMAP to Exchange server. Right a way Thurderbird stopped working (GUI is responsive, but no messages can be loaded) with 100% CPU load. I tried creating new profile, but it did not help.

After installing nightly 2.0 build everything was working except for rules with custom headers (like X-Malier and Message-ID). I ran Thunderbird with IMAP logging and when I asked to run the rules with custom headers, no command was sent to Exchange server (other rules were logged when executed).
