Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3pre) Gecko/20070315 Thunderbird/2.0pre - Build ID: 2007031503.
A short while ago, I posted my first two newsgroup messages. In both cases, although TB stored copies in the sent folder I had selected, I also got error messages stating that TB was unable to store sent copies.
Bug? Normal? Fix? Everything else?

For me, software update not working!
app.update.url = https://aus-staging.mozilla.org:8711/update2/0/%PRODUCT%/%VERSION%/%BUILD_ID%/%BUILD_TARGET%/%LOCALE%/update.xml
In my thunderbird directory the update.xml file don't exist.

I did full downloads manually on th 18th then the 19th worked.
Here is what I have in app.update.url
https://aus2.mozilla.org/update/1/%PRODUCT%/%VERSION%/%BUILD_ID%/%BUILD_TARGET%/%LOCALE%/%CHANNEL%/update.xml
also, app.update.channel is "nightly"

If I recall correctly that's a several month old workaround and now you should reset the pref to default (ie to the one that JoeS pasted above)

Win 32 version 3 alpha 1 (20070320) - + / - icons misaligned for folder within folders. Too far to the left and at random point on the side menu. Conformation please?

The + / - (expand /collapse) buttons all messed up on mine, too. The buttons sometimes disappear, but mostly hang around up at the top left of the panel.
I'm running windows XP trunk, "version 3 alpha 1 (20070320)".

I should add that it's not just folders within folders; the main +/- button that determines whether to show any folders at all has this problem for me.

Yes, if you click around in the area that the +/- should be you get the function. In newsgroups where you try to expand a thread, it seems to select (highlight) the thread.
Got this a few times, but can't seem to reproduce at will:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80550005 [nsIMsgFolder.getMsgDatabase]" nsresult: "0x80550005 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/mailWidgets.xml :: parseFolder :: line 2066" data: no]
