INFO:
1) To add a thread to list you have to right-click over the thread row and select "Forum Additive->Monitor this thread", in alternative to add fastly a thread you can doble-click on thread row,if thread will be added you will hear a sound like "mouse-click".
2) You can add a profile for each forum, to do it you have to set forum link and nick used in forum. Forum link must be like "http://forums.mozillazine.org/" whit "/" at the end!

Hey bho. I don't think people have cottoned on to what a little pearl you have here. To be able to monitor any thread in any forum, bliss!!

Good job.

You bet I've tried it. I've got it on every profile now. Having discovered the Import/Export function helps keep them all the same too.

I like more or less everything about it.

I like the notification in the status bar and the 'slide in' notification and alarm. I like the way you can click on the notification in the status bar and you are taken to the thread. Also by clicking on the arrow next to the icon on the toolbar it shows all the threads you are monitoring.

It's so easy to add further sites, and remove!

A click on the icon gives you all this info too:-

It's too early to make comments either way, I need to play a great deal more but from what I've seen so far bho, this is an absolute must for forum freaks!

I've got a feeling you may get some further attention here!

*Edit* Maybe you could make it easier to access the main options window bho. Perhaps an option from the drop down menu on toolbar? I'm having to open it via the Ext Manager.

You can access the main options window by select "Forum Additive->Forum Additive options->other options..." or ,if threadlist management windows is showing, by select "Edit->Configure".

If you want you can also add/remove coloums in tree list by click on the square positioned on top-right angle of tree list.

Nice extension indeed. Just reviewed it at Mozilla Links: http://mozillalinks.org/wp/2007/03/make ... m-threads/ .

Think you could add Google Groups support?

Keep up the great work!

I really do like this extension bho, a lot!

Some observations:-

Doesn't work in Minefield.

I still think there could be an easier way of opening the Options, no big deal though.

One click from the notifier to the thread in the forum is awesome, but it would be more so if when clicked it would land on the last post in the thread.

Great job, more to come hopefully!

Got to last post of thread by click is not supported for all forums, for example phpBB forums show only thread and not first new post of thread if you click on it...may be in next version.

I have find a small bug on setting and edit a forum profile, will fix in next version that son i will relaese.

ps.What Minefield?

I just noticed that! I answered an alert and it did take me to the last post but answering yours? Alas no!

Hey bho,

Thanks for the short cut!

I just got the update and noticed all the changes but it's caused me a few problems. When I opened the Options > Forums Profiles, all mine had gone. I'm trying to put them back but so far I'm not getting past the little add/edit profile input box, it refused to add.

Any ideas?
