good find. I suspect this is a regression from more nsIFilespec removal work. I'll file a bug!

Note: I filed Bug #376557

A few more probs in Trunk:
"Edit as New" does not bring up a compose window
Error: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER) [nsIMsgComposeService.OpenComposeWindow]" nsresult: "0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/mailCommands.js :: ComposeMessage :: line 255" data: no]
Source File: chrome://messenger/content/mailCommands.js
Line: 255
------------

Can not see the contents of "drafts" folder for pop3 drafts.
Looking at drafts with notepad, the data appears to be valid.
Compact folders..no help

This could be a local problem since Gmail drafts seems to be working OK

For some time (currently in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4pre) Gecko/20070405 Thunderbird/2.0.0.0pre ID:2007040504) folders are not marked "read" when all messages are read until I go to another folder. Just an annoyance.

It happens after clicking on "new message" popup.

I just landed David's fix for this so it should be in tomorrow's builds.

Is there any way to write a new message on Thunderbird trunk without crashing it?

3.0 works for you at all? Do you have talkback report?

I just can't compose new messages, otherwise I think it works fine.
This is the bug causing the crash. The last working version is 0327 nightly.

Latest build doesn't allow to send emails. Whenever I click on write in TB or on a email address in Minefield TB just crashes.

@Andu I had the same problem before, but after I upgraded to Vista today and hence a clean install, it WFM

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070410 Thunderbird/3.0a1 ID:2007041003 [cairo]

I copied the entire old profile to the new install.
