David and I were wondering what happened to the Win32 trunk build machine too. I filed Bug 383695.

Got a partial as above, seems OK
Wondering if the next partial will be OK since maybe this is code from the 7th with a date of the 8th
We'll see

Last build on the trunk tinderbox was 08-Jun-2007 03:22

Looks like it's hung up again, just in time for the weekend.

All current trunk zip builds seem to be broken for me (Winxp)
Partial update reverted to full download: crash on startup.
Tried several "hourly's" same result.

No talkback option in any case, or are we now on brakepad ?
If so, it did not show any dialog.

Last build I tried: 1.9a6pre: 2007060904 from the version ID

Using 2.0.05 Pre builds, when the software update is downloaded, it won't install (Vista). I get a software failed error with the "One or more files could not be updated [...] message. No way to get out of it without uninstalling an re-installing.

Then after a debug session, I discovered what the problem was.

I have Logitech's Quickcam software installed. The the QuickCam10.exe file loads during the computer's startup sequence. It then hooks into the mozMapi32.dll file. This is one of the files that the recent TB updates tries to update. It can't. I found that I had to use Process Explorer to kill the Quickam10 process, which then unloads the DLL. Starting TB then allows it to complete the update. But once you restart QC, the cycle will occur again.

EDIT. I see this has already been reported in 378211

In current Thunderbird, but also Seamonkey, trunk builds it's not any longer possible to cancel a posting in a newsgroup. Filed: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383955 cancel does not work in recent trunk builds

Yes, I'm seeing this also in current trunk. Commented in your bug.
There is another problem with cancels that has been there forever.
If the server does not support cancels, then the post disappears from your local msf, and appears to be cancelled, but it is still on the server.

I am(was) having that bug, solved removing KozGoPro and KozMinPro from the Fonts folder, I've read about same problem with Mathematica fonts but I have those installed and thunderbird and firefox latest trunks work just fine.
