Firefox logo...

I'm very happy with the new Firefox and even like the logo when in its large form. But shrunk down for the taskbar it looks, at least to me, remarkably like a fetus. I suppose this could be deliberate: the fetus as a symbol of possibility, etc. But I doubt it. Is this just a quirk in my perception, or do other folks see this and should, perhaps, something be done?

Nice idea.
I don't think it was intended as such.
This would otherwise mean that by the time the browser reaches maturity the (endlessly debated about) logo would have to change again.

The designer has said he might tweak the 16-pixel icon's appearance at some point. (This doesn't mean changing it, just rendering the same thing slightly differently.)

I don't know if you've tried it, but it's incredibly difficult to render anything even moderately complex at 16x16 and still have it recognizeable, much less good looking. I'm happy enough that the icon is distinct and I can tell what it's supposed to be.

Uh, I would definitely consider a gecko to make a better icon than a fetus!

teh F logo looked great at 16x16
i suppose you can still change the logo to whatever you want just like you could with Fb 0.7 right?
