Was this bug fixed after the build was spun? Given that I thought it was marked fixed last night (unless I'm not thinking right), I would think it would be reflected in this build.

This appears to be in this build. I tried the installer, and it actually ran for a change.

The tab bug is still in effect, and for some reason when I go to options the general section makes
the client crash. I guess it's back to 02/19 build for me.

I have the same tab bug (button not closing tabs) but options/general works.
Is there a bug report for the tab button, because it is not listed in the regressions?

Yes, I believe the bug report is here. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=235709

I'm also experiencing it and have been in all nightly builds since 0.8 except for 2-19. Makes the browser completely unusable.

Forgive the noobie question, by why has this build gone back to using the old Firebird logo in the top fo the browser window? Im thinking this is something on my end...

Well, I tried uninstalling the 0.8 build, then installing this build on the old installdir (and with a brand new profile) with the installer. BLAAAT!!! So, uninstalled it, deleted the old installdir and the new profile and ran the installer again. Worked, even if the pick-your-own-spot interface is kludgy. Loaded it up with my 16 extensions (several old ones are now part of the code).

Hey! It works fine. No close-tab bugs, etc. It's now my workaday build.
Firefox: Sic transit gloria mundi.

First I installed over my existing 20040218 build.
Got the close tabs bug. Crash on Tools>Options>General
Uninstalled firefox, deleted my profile, deleted installation directory. Installed 20040226 installer build:

Discovered that the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" is once again displayed on a toolbar. Previously the contents of this folder were not displayed but the contents of the "Personal Toolbar Folder" were displayed in a toolbar.

Close tabs does work for me.
Tools>Options>General does not crash

Bookmark folder context menus did something odd:
Click Bookmarks
Point to a folder
Select an item in the folder
right click, open in new tab.
<Ok, I know this hasn't been working.>

Click Bookmarks again
Point to the same folder as before
Folder contents are not displayed.
I am getting inconsistant results repeating this problem. It happened, I restarted firefox, now it won't happen again.

The dev's and Mozilla will only put the new fox icons in milestone builds.
1) the icon is not in the build tree files, the dev's add in the icons only
2) Mozilla wants to keep their Firefox[tm] which means that need to control where the graphics are used
3) it is a visiual cue that to the user that you are not using a milestone

there likely other reasons poke around the general fourms for more

This really needs fixing.

I agree, but with some discipline and only using "Manage bookmarks" you should be able to survive ;-)
It's just a matter of habits.
