firefox keeps closing for no reason

I'm not sure why but suddenly today I'll have firefox open for about 3 minutes and this error box comes up saying it needs to close unexpectedly...I wouldn't have worried too much but it's done it about one hundred times in the past half hour...how can I fix this?
