Hot on the heels on the success of a survey I posted on The Rumbling Edge for my college project, I was thinking of doing one for the current state of Thunderbird as viewed by the community. I will continue to use SurveyGizmo as the survey form provider. However, I won't be that free for a couple more weeks, but I thought I would kick-start the discussion here, and hopefully some of the feedback will head into planning for Thunderbird 3 in the future.

Last week, I promised a survey on Thunderbird 2 after my college one, so here it is:

Thunderbird 2 survey version 1, done up end-Oct 07.

It comprises 10 questions, some optional, and should take no more than 10 minutes of your time.
Please note that the survey is not commissioned by Mozilla nor anybody else; this is just something I am doing in my own free time. All comments are welcome, and if I have enough time / feedback, I might do up an improved version. Thank you!

Edit: A report has been compiled and available for view for the first 249 responses.

I would think that it's more likely power users will come to The Rumbling Edge, instead of the less tech-savvy ones.

Beginners won't understand all the bugzilla mumbo jumbo, and couldn't care less about what fixes go in week in, week out.
