The following update to Google "safebrowsing" is flagged as a virus by Kaspersky AV:
detected: Trojan program Trojan-Spy.HTML.Fraud.ak URL: Really long link (Click here)
This warning pop-up appeared every 60 seconds until I found and turned off "safebrowsing".
"safebrowsing" should not be activated by default if another AV is installed.
To turn off "safebrowsing", go to Tools>Options>Security and untick "Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected forgery".
Not Impressed.

Firefox Safe browsing
In Firefox 2.0 Tools>Options>Security there is a checkbox labeled "Tell me if the site I'm visiting is ...".
This turns on a copy of Google "Safe browsing" which is embedded in Firefox 2.0.
It is on by default.
It conflicts with other Antivirus packages. It is well known that having two AV packages running at the same time is asking for trouble.
It should not be on by default.
If it is turned on there should be a warning of potential conflict.
Thanks for responding.
