Every attempt, even from a search engine's web site, after I hit the search box, the Firefox program freezes, then a error report to MS, then it closes the program.

Search has worked fine for years on Firefox,, it still works on internet explorer without a hitch

Help,,, I hate MS internet explorer

I have reinstalled firefox,, still no searches

Here is list of problem extensions http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions I would personal try changing to the default theme first. You might also check out ad/script blocking extensions.

I'm sorry to be thick, but how do you turn off the add on? I also have System Suite 8, and I can't search in Google anymore.

Standout-
Thanks for getting back to us with this. Seems you may be on the cutting edge of a large annoyance here :) . System suite 8 seems to be an all in one everything suite. Did you buy this and then install the add on into Firefox? Or is the add on something separate that you picked up somewhere?
