Make sure to install the newer version that is compatible with beta 4.

Yes. I have it and nothing. I can't add new filters to Adblock Plus.

emil.sekula, do you mean when you do a right click to an ad and select abblock image, then the adblock block preferences shows up, but the image/ad link doesnt show on the "add filter"?.... if so i also have the same issue, no idea how to fix this, or if theres going to be fixed in the next release... this thing has been bugging me a lot....

Try posting on the AdBlock Plus forum http://adblockplus.org/forum/ They will know how it works better than we do.

When you post, make sure you tell them all the details of your problem, incuding the version of Fire fox and AdBlock Plus, and your Operating system, along with details of samples of the filters you want to create.

Yeah, Adblock Plus isn't working like it is in firefox 2. You can't add filters in beta 4 at the moment, but you can still use element hiding helper to block stuff.

It probably does more than you need it to, but if you really want to block something I would use that.

I had the same problem a while back with Beta 2. I actually fixed it by downloading the latest development builds which were surprisingly stable. They don't update automatically though, so you will have to do that manually if you want to ensure you are running the latest version.

Yes, I have exactly the same problem like fredlkrue.
I have installed last version of Adblock Plus (0.7.5.3) but it doesn't work still correctly.

Use the dev builds: http://adblockplus.org/devbuilds/

Adblock plus did work with Firefox 3 beta4, but the only bug that I noticed was that when I right clicked an image and clicked block image, the URL would not show in the adblock dialog.

however, these issues need to be taken up with the extension developer.
