How to choose search engine not in list

Hi

My Firefox search box searches google.com, whereas I want it to search google.co.uk. If I click "Manage Search Engines" and then click "Get more search engines" it just takes me to the Firefox add-ons home page for search tools, none of which seemed at all relevant to getting more search engines or modifying the location of an existing one, which is all I want to do. How do I change my default search engine from google.comto google.co.uk?

Would be nice if the ability to add search engines could be built in to Firefox 3, though.

You can also use Open Search Fox

for any sites not in Mycroft's vast inventory

You can also install the awesome Web Search Pro ext. and have a highly customizable and well supported extension with any search engine/groups you want and an easy way to add more as you go. Try it, i bet you won't be sorry.

It does look amazing but as I always use google search it seems a bit OTT for my needs. Thanks though.
