As of today there shouldn't be ANY NEW features, just bugfixes !
Firefox 0.9 and 1.0 will be based on Mozilla Suite 1.7
2004-03-30<--> 2004-03-28
The Official Win32 2004-03-29 build is out.
The previous Official Win32 build was 2004-03-28
If you find problems/bugs: - Post them in this thread
- Properly describe the problem
- Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
- Include the "about mozilla firefox" information (under the help button)
- Installer build or .zip version?
- Did you completely erase the Firefox directory first?
- Does a new profile fix the problem?
- Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem. 2004-03-29 changes. Fixes:
- #236910Elements with overflow:auto and clip: are damaged when scrolled.
- #238881JConstant propagation for switch cases too aggressive
- #238219nsIDocument changes cause Adobe SVG plugin to crash (was: crash (@ nsCSubstring::SetCapacity)) (WinXP)
- #237686Mozilla cannot browse FTP server running under MVS, OS/390
- #238696URL bar does not update if 2nd ProgressListener added to (browser)
- #236921(FIXr)CRASH when inspecting div with border-color inherit
Patches:
- #207403URLs in the js console should be formatted like a link (blue, underlined)
Regression/confirmed bugs: Make sure you vote for bugs that you suffer from. Do NOT vote for bugs you don't see on your system
- #222157View Source: Save as, <del>Find</del> and <del>Find Again</del> don't work. (moved to branch)
- #236607Crash when choosing File | Import (RESOLVED ?)
- #236673Firefox crashes if there is no profile (import wizard dialog appears)-Windows ME/98/XP (patch in review)
- #237918Installer build throws javascript error on file->import and import dialog does not function (patch in review)
- #233582OK button does not work in options (See workaround)
- #238414Browsing http://ftp and ftp://ftp sites causes memory usage to spike (Win XP only ?)
- #238448Extremely high CPU and RAM usage on this <del>site</del> (10Mb data), actually same problem with Opera,Mozilla,IE etc. Bad html and unrealistic filesize.
Better tablesize examples 3.2Mb and 1.6Mb #XXXXXX Firefox regression list #XXXXXX Firefox regression list by votes
these lists do not include fixes etc that are not marked Browser/Firefox and Win/All (OS).
Firefox 0.9 Milestone ( planned mid April 2004) bugstatus for ALL operating systems: (+/- are changes compared to the previous nightly build)
Bugs verified targeted for Firefox 0.9 = 61 (0)
Bugs nominated to block Firefox 0.9 = 38 (+1)
Bugs verified blocking Firefox 0.9 (will probably be empty until 0.9 branches) = 0 (0)
Bugs targeted for 0.9 and FIXED = 41 (0)
this message will be edited if there is any update.

When i view a Windows Media movie trailer on www.imdb.com, i can see the trailer. However, only the top part of the control bar is visible. I have WMP 9 installed. Can anyone reproduce this?

Peter: Are the last two in your red list regressions? If not, why do you list them here?

I saw a bunch of Extension Manager checkins when I read bonsai today. It's not hooked up yet, though.

Fascinating. I wonder what the new Manager will bring to the table (a command-line switch perhaps?)
