[Firefox 3.0b5 Linux] How to disable Ctrl-Q shortcut

Post by madiyaan »

Hello:

I am using Firefox 3.0b in Ubuntu Linux and am loving it.

There is just one thing I don't like, which is Ctrl-Q quitting the application without any warning. I type Ctrl-W often to quit the tab and sometimes accidentally press Ctrl-Q which closes all tabs without warning.

Is there a way to completely disable this shortcut for firefox (don't want to disable it for all gtk applications).

Regards,

P.S. I also posted this in the General forum, but was advised to post here instead. Link to that thread is http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 08#3375508

There have always been ghosts in the machine... random segments of code that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul...
