( Comment: Do NOT set the flag to + or -, only devs are allowed to do that ! )This will allow the FDT (heh) to develop an action plan for the milestones between now and 1.0, prioritize bugs and so on. It's essential that people start doing this now, rather than later, otherwise bugs might slip through the cracks!" Further details are available in here

The Official Win32 2004-05-17 [Trunk] build is out.(but nothing changed since 20040516)
Continued buggy extension manager behaviour, don't expect too much of it yet
The previous Official Win32 build was 2004-05-16
The unofficial branch/trunk builds moved to here

If you find problems/bugs:
  1. Post them in this thread
  2. Properly describe the problem
  3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
  4. Include the "about mozilla firefox" information (under the help button)
  5. Installer build or .zip version?
  6. Did you completely erase the Firefox directory first?
  7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
  8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

Fixes: target = in ()
  1. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=243413-

Patches:
  1. #170006New Extension Manager.(FF0.9)Latest News and this thread.
    New, Theme manager, see screenshot
Expected to be included in nightlies later this week
  2. #214360SmartUpdate(not activated yet).(FF0.9) Screenshots

Regression/confirmed/annoying bugs:
Make sure you vote for bugs that you suffer from.
Do NOT vote for bugs you don't see on your system.

It's only 2am here ... we have a good 4 or more hours until the checkins usually stop for builds to be done.
It isn't uncommon for Ben to make checkins this late ... we'll see.

By the way, what's this? :P

Benjamin D. Smedberg has in some mozilla newsgroups
announced that a branch has been cut for Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0

I'm not quite sure how important this is, but I guess there are some knowledgeable people that know what this means.

But I have understood one thing: There will soon (early this week) be official nightly branch builds available.

Ben said:

The biggest blocker has been the changes outside of browser/ and toolkit/ that were needed to support install. While those changes have not yet landed on the trunk I have landed them on our new aviary 1.0 branch... we will be getting builds hooked up to these ASAP (next couple of days). You can pull and build this branch in the interim like so:

cvs co -r AVIARY_1_0_20040515_BRANCH mozilla/client.mk mozilla/browser/config
