MacOS X File Icons
I'm considering submitting the following icons to BugZilla bug #226602 (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226602), but thought I'd get some user input first.
So, here are a set of icons I created for the file types wanted by Ben, and a few others I threw in for good measure. Hopefully even Ben (The God behind Firefox!) himself can let me know what he thinks! Anyway, enough talk, here are the icons:
Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to convert them into MacOS icons (I'm using Windows XP), so if someone can convert them to MacOS Icon format for me, that'd be great.
Anyways, hopefully you like them. The only one I'm not sure about is the XUL one, because the 'border' was taken from a page on developer.apple.com, so it's possible it may be copyrighted. The page I got it from is http://tinyurl.com/2ct8g.
Cheers,
WiLLBERT

One word of advice - you didn't need to create the page with the corner curl yourself, it's provided on Apple's developer site.
BTW, provided you have tiff files in these sizes: 16x16, 32x32, 48x48 and 128x128 someone using a Mac can turn them into icon (.icns) files for you using the developer tools.
Nice work

Okay, I looked around the site and couldn't find it, do I need to register to be able to access it or something? Could you give me a page link?

The others are just for 'fun'. I got caught up in the moment of doing the others and thought what the heck

Those are great looking icons. I'm not sure where the page curl is on the site either (I created the one for my app by taking a picture of a generic document on my system, but that doesn't really work in Windows. I know how to get the icon programmatically, but I haven't found it elsewhere). I can convert them to .icns files easily enough if you send them to me (david@bluesky.com), I'm not sure what there is in the way of Windows apps to do that.

Firstly, thanks for the kind words As it turns out, somebody has already converted them over to MacOS format at the bugzilla page (Bug: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226602; Attachment: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment. ... ction=view)
However, it'd be great if you could send me a generic document icon image in either thansparent .png, MacOS .icns or Photoshop .psd format with a transparent background that'd be great!
Cheers,
Will

Having never used MacOS X, I'm guessing if you downloaded the .icns zip file from the bugzilla link posted above (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment. ... ction=view) you could use them to change the icons. Although again, I've never used MacOS before
This site might help if you're unsure how to change icons:

Not using MacOS X myself, I don't know either . I'm using windows XP. In windows some files are represented by icons. My html files are represented by the firefox logo. I'd like it to be the logo on a page (like IE). Any idea how to change this?
Yours look great, but downsizing them to iconsize (32x32) made them a bit blury.
