Firefox 0.9 Extensions
<del>Firefox 0.9 Themes</del> Do not use themes, they are too buggy !

If you find problems/bugs:
  1. Post them in this thread
  2. Properly describe the problem
  3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
  4. Include the "about mozilla firefox" information (under the help button)
  5. Installer build or .zip version?
  6. Did you completely erase the Firefox directory first?
  7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
  8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

Peter, as I said I would in the bug comments for #245428, I've gone ahead and closed this bug as WFM. If anyone has an issue with it later, I will reopen. But as it stands, please move it to the FIXED list.

Thanks.

I don't know wether I should go forward with the latest trunk or the latest brach. 0.9 gives me a little bit dispointment, because I like the new features but find them too buggy(mainly from extensions and themes not from firefox), I just think firefox developers should gives the themes maker or extension writer more time and guidance to be compatible with new standard. 0.9 is a little rushing into the market.

Are all those branch fixes really in the aviary branch as well?

There really isn't anything wrong with themes and extensions in my experience - you just need to be patient.

Yes Jose, all ported from 1.7 branch into Aviary. (Specifically mentioned)

Peter(6):

Why not name the Branch in "The Official Win32 2004-06-21 [Branch] build is not yet out.", it will clarify things.

I'm afraid using "AVIARY branch" would only suggest that there are more branches.

Effectively there used to be other branches, so clarity may really be needed. What about displaying Branch (Aviary) ?

Thanks Peter(6), for this and all the rest of your great work.

Any idea when the trunk is going to catch up and be feature-synched with Aviary branch? Will there be a sign from developers?

Officially, not before the 2 merge, post 1.0 milestone.
But if all testing will remain on branch, I don't know.
