The Official Win32 ..... builds are out , Firefox (RSS feed)
The Official Win32 2004-06-27 [Aviary Branch] build is out.
The Official Win32 2004-06-27 [Trunk] is out.

The previous Official Win32 build was 2004-06-26 BRANCH || 2004-06-26 TRUNK

The latest nighly general directories: Official Branch || Official Trunk] || Unofficial Branch/Trunk

Firefox 0.9 Releasenotes || Extensions || Themes

If you find problems/bugs:
  1. Post them in this thread
  2. Properly describe the problem
  3. Include the url where you have the problem (if this is the case)
  4. Include the "about mozilla firefox" information (under the help button)
  5. Installer build or .zip version?
  6. Did you completely erase the Firefox directory first?
  7. Does a new profile fix the problem?
  8. Include the list of extensions you have installed (preferably none to start with)
This makes it a lot easier for others to duplicate your problem.

Actually, I would say that it would be better to delete the profile before starting the new nightly. Because I have experience trouble when I use the same profile. So, I think deleting and using a new profile is still the best to avoid problems.

Well, Benjamin is a dev and he told me it would be better to stick with your profile.
The errors that might occur are quite essential to them.

I'd love to leave talkback in and keep the profile to report problems, but I have no idea how to build talkback :)

I posted this on the Aebrahim titled thread which is a Sticky in the Firebird General Forums, but I think that it will get more exposure here: (Apologies for the duplicate post but this was/is bothering moi)

Hopefully, I'm on the 'right track' with this, but here is a link that Aebrahim posted on the Mozillazine General Forums:

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/netscape.public.mozilla.l10n

The thread is tilted: "Localization decisions regarding Firefox 1.0" Stickey at the top of the forums:

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=90502

The above link totally freezes this FF build and also yesterday's -O2-GL6-0.9+ Branch/Aviary Build, which also crashes...Here is a reply from member:

gahbmwM5, it's the SSL certificate crash -- which doesn't happen with the official branch build (20040625) for me.

Just curious, as I will try to look up this Bugzilla Report #, but is this the result of the 'Help sections' not being part of these builds? (Understood that we users were in approval of stipe not including this section to help reduce overall build size)...

As I think there was a 'Help.xpi' file that could/can be downloaded to prevent this freeze/crash? But this section needs to be present?

Aha...Found it:

Install the Firefox Help XPI from http://www.mozilla.org/projects/help-viewer/installation.php#firefox

Someone just discovered this. I tried it and it DOES seem to fix the problem for whatever strange reason.

SSL crash - https:// problems....
remove/rename your profile
start a new FF , creating a new profile, that should fix your problem.

Thanks Peter, but I found the solution as stipe now needs to add the 'Help Contents....as I was typing this as you were typing yours...but these forums are a nightmare...

Above google link WFM.
I receive a SSL mismatch warning about the certificate being assigned to www.google.com instead of groups.google.com, so I clicked ok and no freeze at all..
