Well Chrome will soon get uBlock lite and other crippled stuff thanks to Manifest V3 and we still have a full blocking suite. Somewhat ironic :)

Github (another site I use a lot)) is still broken, though, the dropdowns and click-downs (or whatever they are called) spin endlessly without loading anything. Oh well, nothing is perfect and at least I can stay up to date with SM now...
Github site also does not work correctly in Palemoon browser as well.
so that problem is not limited to just Seamonkey

need to have Polyfill addon for Seamonkey and Palefill addon for Palemoon for the github site to work correctly on those affected browsers

What is difference between this extension and that one?

One only works on Github, the other works on other sites as well.

More to the point, what is wrong with both links is that users who have neither extension will not be able to see the Assets to install either of them.

In a 'Being able to see everything on Github is why they wanted those extensions in the first place.' ironic type way.

Just to point out, you can hotlink directly to (the "Asset" on) github too, https://github.com/martok/palefill/rele ... efill-1.23 xpi.

Frank,

So which of the extensions is the most inclusive or the most preferred one to install, " https://github.com/JustOff/github-wc-polyfill " (" https://github.com/JustOff/github-wc-po ... ill-1.2.19 xpi ") -- OR -- " https://github.com/martok/palefill/releases/tag/v1.23 " (" https://github.com/martok/palefill/rele ... efill-1.23 xpi ")? Direct hot links provided for those who might be following this thread.

That's up to you.

I just wanted to end this silly Catch 22 situation of SM users who cannot see half the stuff on Github being told to install an extension on Github to correct that, only to find that they can't see the details/install for that either. After that, they can do what they like.

Btw direct hotlinks are not actually allowed on mozillaZine.

Pick, one, i.e. Palefill, as it is more up to date (& actually works at this point, where JustOff's has not been updated in a while, & does not work, as much).

I decided on Palefill yesterday before anyone answered, after trying out both. They both seem to work and I went with Palefill because of the reasons 'therube' mentioned: Palefill was the most recently updated.
