style repair needed

Post by The.Purple.Hippo »

I need a style repaired. It's not working for me. I've searched userstyles.org but that site is no longer what it used to be.

Anyways the style I have is for the bookmark toolbar. It makes it disappear and reappears when hover over it. I have the following:

@-moz-document url-prefix(chrome://navigator/content/navigator.xul) {

#PersonalToolbar {visibility: collapse;}
#navigator-toolbox:hover > #PersonalToolbar
{ visibility: visible; }
}

(For nostalgic reasons, I'll just link to, bookmark toolbar hidden until hover ;-).)

Anyhow, since I'm rather clueless on this stuff, & if one of the css guys doesn't jump in, Google.

I remember that posting, but the styles don't work. I looked at the google sites, and tried what was posted, but those, too, didn't work.

What I don't understand is it works in my old profile, but not the new one.

Compare the .css files between the two & ensure they are the same.
You may have an errant ; or similar that is throwing things off.

Check Error Console (or similar) & see if that doesn't point out an issue.

I'm not using the .css files, but rather stylish, and there's nothing to compare that to. Anyways, I looked in the error console and there was nothing to report.
